Gavin Kendall

Born in London, Gavin was educated at Cambridge, Manchester and London Universities, and before moving to QUT, lectured for six years at Lancaster University.

He is interested in using social theory to understand both the human sciences and culture, social studies of science and technology, more traditional political sociology/political science concepts such as globalization and liberalism and cosmopolitanism.
