Submitting My Article

How do I submit my paper? 
Each SAGE journal has its own Editorial office with its own unique manuscript submission guidelines. To submit your article, go to the list of SAGE journals, select the journal in which you hope to publish, then click on “Instructions for Authors” for details on how to submit your article.

How do I contact the Editor of the journal to which I would like to submit my article?

When will I know if my article has been accepted? What happens next? 
Each SAGE journal has its own editorial procedures, and you should consult the individual journal’s “Instructions for Authors” for more details. In general, the Journal’s editorial office will contact you to let you know whether your article has been accepted, and what will happen next. Some journals have instituted an online submission and review system known as SAGETRACK. This system allows you to track the progress of your article. Please contact the editorial office of your chosen journal to inquire if the journal has instituted SAGETRACK.

Can you provide me with a PDF file of my article?
If you are the corresponding author of an article, you will receive e-prints which are PDF offprints. Full information on what you can do with these will be provided to you with the link to the eprints. It is not SAGE’s policy to provide PDFs of the published article for mounting on servers or in institutional repositories.  However, you may update your own version of the article to reflect changes made during production and convert that article into PDF form. Full details of SAGE’s policy regarding posting of PDFs are covered in the Transfer of Copyright agreement you will have signed as an author.

Offprints and Reprints

Will I receive offprints of my article? 
If you are the corresponding author of an article, you will receive e-prints which are PDF offprints. Full information on what you can do with these will be provided to you with the link to the e-prints. For technical questions, contact us at sage@cadmus.com.
