For anyone undertaking study of 'the Self' and its construction this book is a must. Brilliantly designed and delivered the authors provide a clear and eloquent journey the historical development of the concept of the self, its construction and how it is situated in modern society. More than a book of Social Psychology this book could be and should be recommended to students of Philosophy, Socialogy and an array of social sciences.
