FAQ - SAGE Systems Upgrades
Q: I heard changes are happening at SAGE, what are they?
A: Yes! There will be some changes to our systems infrastructure. SAGE is growing and we are investing in system upgrades to support our customers and new product offerings.
Q: When will this happen?
A: It is scheduled to be effective as of September 3, 2012.
Q: What are the benefits of this change?
A: Most of the benefits will impact how we manage your customer account details and the products you purchase, and will not be directly visible to you. However, there are some you will see. We are combining multiple systems into one which means that you will have the ability to have a single account for most of our products: SAGE Journals, SAGE Reference, SAGE Knowledge, SAGE Research Methods and CQ Press products. With a single account, we will have the ability to produce single invoices, something our customers have been asking for! We are also focused to manage IP addresses more effectively to ensure accurate usage reporting.
Q: What is going to change for me?
A: We are working really hard to minimally impact our customers, however there are a few items that will change, such as new account numbers and some administrative functions on SAGE Journals.
Q: Do I need to do anything?
A: No. SAGE will take care of everything and will strive to communicate all changes to you in a timely fashion. However, if we identify any action is needed on your part, we will let you know.
Q: This is good news, but what if I have additional questions or concerns?
A: Please contact us and we will put your mind at ease:
