Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin receives manuscript submissions through a Web-based system. Authors should register at the SAGETrack home page, where they will create a password and login ID. The SAGETrack system serves as the center for editorial staff to communicate with authors, editors, and reviewers electronically, and it functions as the platform for the review process.

The standard review process is to mask manuscript authorship and reviewer identities. When submitting the manuscript, authors should remove all author names, institutions, and other identifying information from the electronic copy of the manuscript that is uploaded into the SAGETrack system.

PSPB aspires to publish papers on a wide range of topics in each issue. To accomplish this goal, regular manuscripts must not exceed 10,000 words in length. The word count includes the abstract, text, references, and notes, and the count should appear on the title page. Abstracts have a word limit of 150 words, and 4-5 keywords should be listed beneath the abstract.

All manuscripts should follow the style guidelines set forth in the fifth edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (including "Guidelines to Reduce Bias in Language" on pp. 61-76). Journal policy prohibits an author from submitting the same manuscript for consideration by another journal and does not allow publication of a manuscript that has been published in whole or in part by another journal. Authors must also verify compliance with APA ethical standards in the treatment of participants, human or animal.

If you or your funder wish your article to be freely available online to nonsubscribers immediately upon publication (gold open access), you can opt for it to be included in SAGE Choice, subject to payment of a publication fee.
