The Journal of Sports Engineering and Technology covers the development of novel sports apparel, footwear, and equipment; and the materials, instrumentation, and processes that make advances in sports possible.
"An international journal that collates the output of those investigating and developing novel sports apparel, footwear, and equipment; and the materials, instrumentation, and processes that make advances in sport possible, is an exciting prospect. I trust that those of you with an interest in sports engineering and technology will come to value the Journal, either as the destination of choice for publication, or as an archive of diverse, stimulating, and relevant research papers.
The Editorial Board represents a group of individuals from academia, industry, and sports-related bodies of the highest calibre. While this combination of backgrounds is atypical for an academic journal, it reflects the Journal's aim to publish quality original research output, whereby the underlying work demonstrates the potential to make an impact on sport and is thus either commercially relevant or of interest to those focused upon improving sports performance or participation."
