MANUSCRIPTS for URBAN AFFAIRS REVIEW (UAR) Manuscripts should be submitted electronically to uar@uic.edu. Full-length manuscripts should not exceed 30 pages total, and research notes should not exceed 14 pages total (including notes, references, and tables or figures). All text, notes, and references should be typed and double-spaced, with one-inch margins. All references to the author’s previous work should be omitted in the text. Bibliographic citations should follow the documentation II system of the Chicago Manual of Style (15th edition). A style sheet can be obtained via e-mail request to uar@uic.
edu. A brief biographical paragraph describing each author’s current affiliation, research interests, and recent publications should be submitted, and an abstract of approximately 100 words should accompany the manuscript. In accordance with professional standards, the editors assume that manuscripts are for the exclusive consideration of UAR and have not simultaneously been submitted or published elsewhere.

Books for review should be sent to Professor Deborah Martin, Book Review Editor, Urban Affairs Review, Graduate School of Geography, Clark University, 950 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01610; demartin@clarku.edu. Potential contributors of book reviews are strongly encouraged to correspond with Professor Martin before making a submission.

In accordance with professional standards, the editors assume that manuscripts are for the exclusive consideration of UAR and have not simultaneously been submitted or published elsewhere.
