Manuscripts must be submitted electronically at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/jfi. The corresponding author must create an online account in order to submit a manuscript. Submitted papers should be in Word and must not exceed 30 double-spaced typewritten pages in total (text, references, tables, figures, appendices). Authors should use Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, one-inch margins throughout and include an abstract of 150 words or less with 4-5 keywords. Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the American Psychological Association (APA) guidelines. Submission of a manuscript implies commitment to publish in the journal. Authors submitting to the journal should not simultaneously submit them to another journal nor should manuscripts have been published elsewhere in substantially similar form or with substantially similar content. Authors in doubt about what constitutes prior publication should consult the editor. There is no submission fee. The Journal of Family Issues does not publish book reviews.
