Industrial/technical textiles are used in virtually every consumer, industrial, architectural, medical, aerospace, electronic, transportation, and military application, either as a component of the end product, or vital to the products, material, or equipment used in the production of products or their components.
The Journal of Industrial Textiles is the only peer reviewed journal devoted exclusively to industrial/technical textile technology and its applications. Our objective is to disseminate information on a global scale and enhance knowledge for mutual benefit.
Each quarterly issue publishes research-based articles by specialists and researchers on developments in industrial/technical textile materials (fibers, yarns, fabrics), their properties and performance, processing (including coating, laminating, and finishing), applications, and markets.
Reports and review articles from non-research based sources may also be included if the Editors feel they are pertinent and contribute to the knowledge base of the industry.
Each issue also includes a review section on industry-relevant patents.
Article authors are international researchers and specialists, affiliated with university faculties, textile research organizations, and companies active in this field.
