The
Journal of Correctional Health Care is the only national, peer-reviewed scientific journal to address correctional health care topics. Published quarterly under the direction of editor John R. Miles, MPA, the
Journal features original research, case studies, best practices, literature reviews and more to keep correctional health care professionals up-to-date on trends and developments important to their field. The
Journal addresses areas such as clinical health care, health services and support, personnel and staffing, ethical issues, clinical services, medical records, continuous quality improvement, risk management and medical-legal issues. As NCCHC develops clinical guidelines and position statements, these also are published in the
Journal.
Continuing education credits for physicians, nurses, psychologists, CCHPs and others are available through a self-study exam in each issue.
