Manuscript Submission Guidelines:
Manuscript Review Policy: Each submitted manuscript will be read and evaluated by at least two reviewers. The manuscript should be completely double-spaced and no longer than 35 pages total. Include a cover sheet noting title, authors, authors’ contact information and institutional affiliations. An abstract of no more than 150 words, followed by 3 keywords to facilitate online searches, as well as a brief biographical paragraph describing each author’s current affiliation and research interests should accompany the manuscript. All manuscripts should follow the guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th edition). Youth & Society is not able to return manuscripts submitted.
For electronic submissions: Electronic submissions are encouraged and should be addressed to YouthandSoc@mail.montclair.edu. Manuscripts should be submitted in two files: one file should contain the manuscript cover page, author contact information, and a short author’s biographical statement; the second file should include the title of the manuscript, the abstract, and the text of the paper, including references, tables and figures, and endnotes.
