Manuscript Submission Guidelines:

Manuscripts for review should be submitted in quadruplicate to Professor Howard Giles, Editor, Journal of Language and Social Psychology, Department of Communication, University of California, Santa Barbara, CA 93106, USA. Each manuscript should be accompanied by a cover sheet giving the title, author(s), affiliation(s), full mailing address(es), and acknowledgements. There should be no reference to the author(s) in the text or notes. All manuscripts should be double spaced on one side of 81/2 x 11 paper with wide margins throughout and should follow the guidelines set forth in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th edition). Manuscripts should not exceed 25 typewritten pages, with notes, references, tables, and figures on separate pages. An abstract of 150 words, as well as a short biographical paragraph, should accompany the manuscript. Manuscripts cannot be returned to authors. It is assumed that manuscripts are for exclusive consideration of the Journal and have not simultaneously been submitted elsewhere.
