Manuscript Submission Guidelines:
Authors should send manuscripts electronically to
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/fcsrj. Authors will be required to set up an online account on the SageTrack system powered by ScholarOne.
Manuscripts should be prepared for blind review in accordance with the guidelines contained in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th ed.). They should be double-spaced (with lines numbered beginning with one on each new page) in their entirety and should not be right-justified.
Research involving human subjects will be reviewed only after the editor has received written assurance that the research was approved by an Institutional Review Board (IRB), if applicable, and/or that the research was conducted in accordance with accepted principles and procedures for the protection of human subjects . Such assurance may be provided in a cover letter with the submission and/or in the body of the manuscript text (supported by a copy of the IRB approval, or similar document).
Manuscripts may not be submitted to any other journal while under review by the Family and Consumer Sciences Research Journal (FCSRJ). As part of the cover letter, include a statement assuring the editor that the manuscript has not been published or submitted to any other journal, nor will it be submitted to another journal during the time it is under review by FCSRJ.
