Peer-Review Process: Manuscripts submitted to NASSP Bulletin undergo three major stages of review:
• Editorial review by staff editors to assess the appropriateness of the manuscript for the journal;
• Peer review by two or more members of the editorial board of the journal who are recognized scholars and experts in the area or content of the manuscript; and
• Final editor review to determine the suitability of the manuscript for publication based upon peer review.
All manuscripts are "blind reviewed," and authors should make every effort to guarantee that the manuscript contains no information that provides self-identification.
Acknowledgment and Publication Decision: All manuscripts are acknowledged upon receipt. Authors should allow at least 3 to 4 months for the review process to be completed. Publication decisions will be communicated to authors through mailed correspondence.
Book Reviews: Books for review should be sent directly to the editor. The editor commissions the writing of such reviews. While we welcome suggestions for books to review, unsolicited book reviews will not be considered for publication.
