SAGE signs an agreement with Lyrasis to offer its entire electronic journal and reference portfolio to member libraries

Los Angeles, London, New Delhi, Singapore and Washington DC—(July 8, 2009) SAGE announced today that, for the first time, SAGE’s entire electronic journal and reference portfolio is available to members of Lyrasis, the new membership organization created earlier this year from the merger of two well-established regional library networks: PALINET and SOLINET.

With this new partnership, participating members of Lyrasis, which is a not-for-profit membership organization now serving library, information, and cultural organizations in the Southeast and the mid-Atlantic regions, will be able to choose from among the following SAGE journal and reference packages:

  • SAGE Premiercontains electronic access to 514 peer-reviewed journals, comprising over 230,000 articles, via SAGE Journals Online, SAGE’s award-winning online journal delivery platform.
  • SAGE Deep Backfile Packagecontains electronic access back to volume 1, issue 1 of over 380 highly-ranked titles in business, humanities, social sciences and science, technology and medicine.
  • SAGE Reference Onlinecontains electronic access to over 100 respected, award-winning, and authoritative reference works (by year’s end), all hosted on the user-friendly SAGE Reference Online platform, which has also been honored throughout the industry.
