Australian Journal of Management to be published by SAGELos Angeles, London, New Delhi, Singapore and Washington DC (June 1, 2009) – The Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales and SAGE have announced that, starting in 2010, the Australian Journal of Management will be published by SAGE. The Australian Journal of Management (AJM) encourages research in the field of management, publishing peer-reviewed studies in accounting, applied economics, finance, industrial relations, political science, psychology, statistics, and other disciplines, provided the application is to management. It also publishes research in areas such as marketing, corporate strategy, operations management, organization development, decision analysis, and other problem-focused paradigms. The journal joins SAGE’s prestigious business and management collection, including titles such as Human Relations, published in association with London’s Tavistock Institute, Organization Studies, published in association with the European Group for Organization Studies (EGOS); and Journal of Management, the official Journal of the Southern Management Association. “The AJM has continued to demonstrate its authority in this community,” said Ziyad Marar, Deputy Managing Director and Publishing Director, SAGE. “The journal was selected for indexing in the Web of Science Social Sciences Citation Index in 2007 and its first Impact Factor will be announced soon. We’re delighted to be working with the editors to continue the development and widen the dissemination of this title.” “For a third of a century, the AJM has been a pioneer in publishing first-rate authors in all fields of management in Australia and abroad,” added Professor Robert Marks, General Editor. “AJM is one of the top management journals the Asia-Pacific region; we look forward to completing our first century with SAGE as our partner.” The first issue to be published by SAGE will be vol. 35 issue 1, year 2010. The journal will then publish three issues per year (currently two). The new website on SAGE Journals Online will be http://aum.sagepub.com. Print ISSN: 0312 8962, online ISSN: 1327-2020. |
