Eighteen SAGE journals accepted intoThomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports for 2010Los Angeles and London (March 11, 2010) - SAGE, the world's leading independent academic and professional publisher, has announced that 18 of its Social Science journals have been selected for coverage in the 2010 Thomson Reuters Journals Citation Reports (JCR) and Citation Index. The titles include both well established and newer titles from across SAGE's publishing program. The company celebrates 45 years of world-class social science publishing in 2010. The titles and the volumes included are:
All titles are accepted into the Social Science Citation Index and correspondingly the Journal Citation Reports- Social Science Edition. In addition, Clinical Nursing Research has also been accepted into the Science Citation Index, and JCR- Science Edition. "In an environment where higher education is under critical scrutiny- particularly in the social sciences- we're delighted that the authors, editors and societies contributing to these journals will now be recognized in the annual JCR process," said Alison Mudditt, SAGE Executive Vice President, Higher Education Group. "The JCR provides a much needed measure of impact for journal quality, something particularly key for librarians making purchasing decisions."
