Tourism and Hospitality Research joins a highly regarded publishing program including both books and journals. Journal of Generic Medicines and Journal of Medical Marketing are ideal for our growing base of medical journals, adding another facet to the therapeutic and clinical areas we currently reach. We look forward to working with the current editors to broaden and develop all four journals." "The decision to divest these titles follows a strategic review of our scholarly journals publishing activity. We have been keen to identify the areas and disciplines in which we wish to continue to develop, build and invest (the social sciences, business and the humanities), but also the areas in which we can step back, thus allowing focus on our strengths" said David Bull, Publishing Director, Palgrave Macmillan, Journals & Reference. "We are proud to have developed these titles into the respected publications that they are today, and while they are no longer core to our plans for future growth and success, we believe they will continue to be influential and develop."
