SAGE begins publishing Administrative Science Quarterly
Los Angeles, CA (June 28, 2011) – SAGE has been chosen by the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University to publish its journal, the Administrative Science Quarterly (ASQ), beginning this month.
ASQ is a top-tier journal that has been on the cutting-edge of organizational studies since the field began. ASQ explicitly seeks to promote high quality interdisciplinary theoretical and empirical work across a wide range of perspectives and styles. ASQ is listed in the Financial Times’ Top 45 Research Journals, and is highly ranked in both the Management and Business categories of the Thomson Reuters Journal Citation Reports.
“The Johnson Graduate School of Management is excited to be working with SAGE to publish our journal. After considering our options, we decided that partnering with SAGE would provide us with a solid online journal platform as well as a state-of-the-art manuscript submission and review system, both of which would enhance our global visibility and reach,” said Linda Johanson, Administrative Science Quarterly's Managing Editor.
The journal supports its mission to help further the field by seeking the best theoretical and empirical work on organizational studies, publishing interdisciplinary work in organization theory across a vast range of perspectives, and offering informative book reviews. Joining the SAGE journal family means that the journal will be available through SAGE Journals Online and authors will be able to submit articles for review through SAGE Track.
“Administrative Science Quarterly is a leading publication and continues to be on the cutting edge of organizational studies,” said Jayne Marks, SAGE Vice President and Editorial Director, Library Information Group. “We know their journal will fit very well alongside SAGE’s existing strong business and management list. It will be a privilege to work with our new partner to help further their mission.”
