SAGE Signs New Agreement with the University of Toronto

Los Angeles, CA (August 13, 2012) A new agreement between the University of Toronto and SAGE, the world’s leading independent academic and professional publisher, will allow staff, students and researchers on their campuses access to a wide variety of SAGE’s content and platforms.

The agreement includes many electronic products and platforms offered by SAGE and CQ Press including SAGE Knowledge, SAGE Research Methods, SAGE Journals, CQ Press’s FirstStreet, CQ Global and CQ Press Political Reference Suite. The agreement will give University of Toronto library patrons access to a large collection of current, backfile and deep backfile journal articles, as well as SAGE and CQ Press reference materials.

“The addition of SAGE and CQ Press products strengthens our collection of eResources in the Social Sciences, the products will be of use to faculty and students across disciplines,” said Larry Alford, Chief Librarian, University of Toronto Libraries. “We’re pleased to offer these new resources to the University of Toronto academic community.”

The University of Toronto libraries provide resources and services to more than 80,000 students, faculty and staff. It is consistently named one of the top three research libraries in North America.
