Cartilage will debut in January 2010 and will publish articles related to the musculoskeletal system with particular attention to cartilage repair, development, function, degeneration, transplantation, and rehabilitation. The journal will be a forum for the exchange of ideas for the many types of researchers and clinicians involved in cartilage biology and repair. Cartilage is the official publication of the International Cartilage Repair Society which is dedicated to promotion, encouragement, and distribution of fundamental and applied research of cartilage in order to permit a better knowledge of function and dysfunction of articular cartilage and its repair.

ICU Director (ICUD) is a new resource for critical care unit directors, intensivists, and ICU managers, offering practical information regarding clinical management and unit operations. The journal addresses effective practice assurance, enhancing leadership and team-building, policy development and implementing change, finances and planning, staffing and retention, quality improvement and safety, education and regulatory compliance. ICUD also publishes peer reviewed papers on clinical conditions and decisions that may have an impact on clinical outcomes, efficiency of ICU operations and management processes.

Music and Medicine (MMD) will offer an integrative forum for clinical practice and research. The readership will include practitioners from a variety of clinical and research backgrounds. Music and Medicine will provide a venue to inter-relate the fields of arts medicine, music performance, performance arts medicine, music in special education, music psychology, ethnomusicology, music cognition, music neurology, music therapy, music in hospitals, early childhood and developmental music education, infant stimulation and others.
