This is the book we currently use of our Level C module. It is an up-to-date excellent guide for students who aim to become practitioners and are at the beginning of their studies.This is a great textbook that brings together theory and practice. A great introduction to the field of Early years Studies
Useful overview of key topics, in an easy to understand manner. I will recommend this for summer reading for both year one and year 2.
This is a good all round book - however because if covers such a range it does so only at a limited level. Students would therefore need to research areas of particular interest further, but this book does do well to signpost them in order to assist with this.
An informative and practical guide that is helpful for adults entering early education.
The scope of this book, in my opinion, is above and beyond that which is expected of my Level 3 students. However, I found it very useful for my own additional reading.
