Arnab Roy Chowdhury National Research University Higher School of Economics, Russia

Arnab Roy Chowdhury is Assistant Professor at the School of Sociology in National Research University Higher School of Economics (NRU-HSE), Moscow. He has received his PhD in sociology from the National University of Singapore. His research interests cover social movement studies, environmental sociology, sociology of development, comparative and historical sociology, state–society relations, and postcolonial studies. Prior to this, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Public Policy in HSE. Earlier, he was an assistant professor in the public policy group of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
