Kieron Philip O’Connor, PhD in Psychology, is a researcher in the Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal Research Center and full professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Montreal University, Quebec, Canada. He works on the development and implementation of the effectiveness of psychological interventions for patients with obsessive–compulsive spectrum disorders. He collaborates with researchers and professionals to provide treatment for obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), chronic motor tics, Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, body dysmorphic disorder, as well as compulsive accumulation and eating disorders. He is co-director of the Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder and Tic Disorder Studies Centre at the Montreal Institute of Mental health. Areas of expertise include OCD, anxiety, Gilles de la Tourette syndrome, hoarding disorder, cognitive behavioral therapy, and inference-based therapy.
