Paul Kwame Nkegbe is a senior lecturer at the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship Development, University for Development Studies, Ghana. He teaches courses in economics and applied statistics at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and currently involved in a study to explain biological energy expenditure in free living humans. He is also dean of the Faculty of Integrated Development Studies. He holds PhD in agricultural and food economics from the University of Reading, United Kingdom. His research interests are in applied microeconomic analysis with focus on technology adoption, efficiency and productivity analysis, household modeling as well as evaluation of policy impacts on smallholder producers and recently in labor productivity, and market participation. He has published papers in a number of international journals including African Journal of Business, Cogent Economics & Finance, International Journal of Economics and Business Research, and Development Engineering. He is a member of the Royal Economic Society.
