Within the Foundation Degree for Early Years Care and Education we are adding this to our reading list. This beautifully underpins the knowledge needed for the Equal Opportunities module. The text identifies the diverse nature of settings and gives practical guidance of how to challenge discrimination and become champions of equality. I particularly like the case studies and activities which give the students practise with challenging, potenially discriminatory, situations.
