The symposium brings together human factors/ergonomics professionals and other stakeholders in both the scientific and practice realms of the health-care community to bridge knowledge gaps among them. The event features presentations in topical tracks (patient and provider safety, device design and usability, practice in clinical settings, and information technology), ensuring a varied and comprehensive program. Presentations include the latest research, best practices, regulatory content, and case histories on a variety of topics and perspectives in health-care human factors/ergonomics.
