An excellent supportive text to an essential skill for student and qualified nurses in contemporary healthcare. Clear, comprehensive and explanatory in delivery. All essential concepts covered for safe and effective medicines management and administration.
Many useful elements to this book that should be important considerations for nurses in all fields, however for MH students it is probably of less value than the alternative text in the same series- Mutsatsa, M. (2011) Medicines Management in Mental Health Nursing. I would still suggest it as useful background reading but probably not encourage MH nurses to purchase this text ahead of Mutsatsa.
The book contains up to date and straight forward information which meet the needs of people studying Medicines Managment in Health Care. Real life activities and examples of practice are easy to apply.
