Having spent some time perusing a variety of clips and articles and completing the questionnaires, I felt very satisfied. This was firstly due to successfully accessing the the various resources, and secondly because the learning element of this approach exceeded my expectations. As with the book itself, the interactive eBook is ideal for therapists at all levels of training and experience. The biggest challenge for some may be the apprehension about working online in this way, but take a deep breath and go for it. It really will be worth it!

The values and ethical principles inherent in counselling are all discussed and the inclusion of case studies add a helpful practical insight into ethics in clinical practice.
This book covers all important points from insurance and record-keeping to working with suicidal clients and supervision. Tim Bond highlights the responsibilities of being a counsellor and the importance and implications of ethics in decision making.

This fourth edition introduced an interactive ebook style and the students seem to really enjoy this. It is easy to use the additions in lectures and group discussions. The book not only covers the essential professional and ethical issues but does beyond this and is a useful resources for students, counsellors and counselling psychologists.
No longer offer counselling course
This book is an invaluable resource for counsellors, counselling students and counselling teachers. It is helpful to read through before taking the BACP certificate of proficiency. The new additions, including the new website, make the concepts even more accessible and bring things to life. I would highly recommend this book
