This is a well laid out and focussed publication that not only guides the student to research method choices but takes them on the journey to completion once they have made the appropriate choice. Well recommended.

I use this book as an essential recommentation for my PH D method course (students are per semester about 7 - 9;
Good book, but turned out not to be applicable to the student level
Excellent source for students who opt for qualitative projects. Could not justify requiring for all students.
This text is clear and thorough in its coverage of the various aspects of conducting qualitative research. It is a good foundational text for students who are in the early stages of developing their research projects.
Excellent text for my first-year doctoral students in their qualitative methods class. Includes theory, a broad number of examples, practice, and most of all, a humanistic, action research orientation. I will continue to use this text. Thank you!
An excellent text covering the key aspect of interviewing
Highly recommended at masters and doctoral level for professional practice based programmes. An excellent technical text with a rich and accessible content.
