The book provides a brought and concise introduction to the different methodological approaches to study world politics. Very helpful book for students that start to work on their (BA) thesis.

This book is an essential reading for those who are doing research in IR. This is a difficult field for students and no clear, understandable text book exists. They are generally for more difficult to understand for a student who is beginning to research. One of the important merits of the book is that it provides examples for researchers on how to do what at which state. Therefore I am assigning this book as essential reading for those who are starting to do research in our area.

A very good, student-friendly introduction to IR methods, a kind of book which has been missing on the market.
