Description

Social Change publishes empirically-grounded analytical papers, theoretical essays and policy discussions in the field of social change and development. This multi-disciplinary, quarterly journal has a global readership among academia, social movements, NGOs and policy makers. We invite contributions from eminent thinkers and researchers as well as young, innovative writers from India and abroad.

This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Manuscripts should be emailed, as MS Word files, to socialchange@csdindia.org. Manuscripts will be considered for publication only if written and formatted in accordance with the journal’s style guide. Otherwise, these will be returned or desk rejected.

Submissions emailed to Social Change are normally acknowledged within 2–3 days. Authors, who do not receive an acknowledgement in their inboxes, are requested to check their spam folders. Owing to the bulk of submissions received, frequent queries from the author/s cannot be entertained by the Editorial Team.

Manuscripts should only be submitted with the consent of all contributing authors. The individual responsible for submitting the manuscript should carefully check that all those whose work contributed to the manuscript are listed as authors.

Ensure you upload all relevant manuscript files, including any additional supplemental files (including reporting guidelines where relevant).
