Thinking Through Pedagogy for Primary and Early Years
- Tony Eaude - University of Oxford, UK
Comprehensive, thought provoking yet accessible. This book is a gem and one that I shall be drawing to students attention immediately. It's critical thinking activities and following comments should gently guide students to the processing of skills so much in demand. I look forward to more of the same calibre in this series

A very insightful book for the learners who are undertaking the Primary Education module.
An interesting book. I recommended it to some students as felt it would be useful for their dissertation project.
An excellent book although pitched a little higher than makes it suitable for the Level 3 Early Years Educators that I originally hoped to use it with. Neithertheless, I will recommend this interesting book to my Level 5 students instead.
Well received by students doing a BA in Early Childhood Studies. The book came very valuable when preparing their assignments.
Theory into practice approach is most valuable for undergraduate students attempting to improve their reflection skills.
A book rich in ideas and exploration that repays careful re-reading.
useful as a supplementary text to complement other texts on pedagogy
a strong text - excellent detail - will be promoted and purchased for library. Some new ideas here, great stimulus for classroom discussion.
This is a useful text for providing background reading. I also used some of the exercises with students. They enjoyed using them.
