Johannes F. Linn Distinguished Resident Scholar, Emerging Markets Forum
Johannes F. Linn is a Distinguished Resident Scholar at the Emerging Markets Forum and a nonresident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. During his 30-year career at the World Bank, he held senior positions, including Vice President for Financial Policy and Resource Mobilization and Vice President for Europe and Central Asia. In 2004-05, he was the lead author of the United Nations Development Program’s Central Asia Human Development Report. He recently edited (with Werner Hermann) the volume Central Asia and The Caucasus: At the Crossroads of Eurasia in the 21st Century (2011). He co-edited the book Kazakhstan 2050: Toward A Modern Society For All (2014).
