Pamela I. Erickson, Dr. P.H., PhD, is a medical anthropologist at the University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus in the Department of Anthropology. She is also affiliated with the Institute for Collaboration on Health, Intervention, and Policy (Storrs campus) and the Department of Community Health in the School of Medicine (Farmington Campus). Her research interests include human reproduction, sexual decision making and risk reduction among adolescents and emerging adults, global health, the impact of global climate change on health, health and human rights, qualitative research methods, ethnomedicine, and the causes and implications of Waorani raiding in Amazonian Ecuador. She has conducted research in East Los Angeles, CA, Hartford CT, Ecuador, India, Mexico, Panama, the Philippines, and Nepal.
