Sarah L. Bulloch Third Sector Research Centre

Sarah L. Bulloch has expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methods. She has employed multivariate regression techniques, structural equation modelling and multilevel modelling to research various aspects of social capital, including interpersonal trust and civic participation. The work explored in this case study stems from her time working with the computer-assisted qualitative data analysis (CAQDAS) Networking Project, where she specialised in the use of CAQDAS packages to analyse video data. Most recently, Sarah has drawn together her methodological expertise in her work as Co-Investigator of a mixed-methods longitudinal Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) research grant looking at continuities and change in volunteering practices between the early 1980s and 2012, a period spanning two era of austerity and one of relative prosperity.
