This provides a sound basis for students to consider their person-centred approaches. The layout makes the book easy to read and refer to.
This is an excellent textbook and in my view it is an essential read at this point in time in our NHS and health and social care. The delivery of 'Person-Centred Care' is now central to nursing and healthcare of which this book looks at both the theory behind this and how to apply this in practice. As a lecturer using the textbook within lectures to help student to outline and understand the theory on person-centred care, this is turn as help to generate critical discussions on the pragmatic interpretation this has in practice.
