A detailed look at all aspects of sport which covers a wide range of topics. A bit too high end for Level 3 students but there are some concepts / chapters included which are relevant. This would be a very good book for Foundation Degree as well as other Level 4 and Level 5 students.
A good book for introducing students to the topic of sport and society, with an enormously broad range of topics considered. We'll be making particular use of the chapters on globalisation, political economy and the media in sport.
