Packed with activities, discussion questions, top tips, research tools, useful suggestions, and practical advice, this text will appeal to practitioners, graduate students, and researchers in education, sociology, human geography, social policy, social work, and nursing.
This book covered all aspects of researching with children in an easy laid out format. The pros and cons of each type of process allowed the reader to get a full understanding of the different methods. The case studies showed how the theory was put into practice.
This will be a very helpful guide through a delicate area.
I felt that this text, a long with the text editted by Robb, was well contructed and met a great deal of the needs of my students studying on this module as it addressed relevant issues in relation to today's young people as well as informing those who work within that field. Because of this this is one of two books that I am recommending as essential reading for my students.
