This book covers a range of valuable areas for the nurse associates from studying in HE, basic A&P and skills to health promotion. Some Chapters manage to covers the needs of all four fields where in others it is focused on Adult nursing and these would benefit from links to other books for further reading as this may have been to ensure the book was a reasonable length. Overall this is a well written and considered book, with directed learning for the reader, that will support NA's development. It manages to include a wide range of key topics well, without being too long or wordy resulting in it being appealing, and uses illustrations support the learning throughout.
