Joyce Weil completed her PhD in 2007 at Fordham University. She is an associate professor at the University of Northern Colorado where she teaches in the gerontology, human services, and healthy aging programs. Her research focuses on aging in place, research methodology, social inequalities across the life course, and well-being and aging.
