Matthew Livesey Bradford Grammar School, UK

Matthew Livesey is a teacher of biology at Bradford Grammar School. Alongside his main teaching role, Matthew is part of the teaching and learning team, leading CPD and pedagogy development within the department and more widely across the school. Matthew has mentored several student teachers on both their first and second placement of training. He is a former medical doctor and a keen outdoor enthusiast and regularly draws upon his experiences to contextualise learning. Matthew sits on the 11-19 Committee for the Association for Science Education, their Publications Group and the Yorkshire regional Committee and is a frequent presenter at their conferences, focusing on supporting student teachers and early career teachers in their first years of teaching.
