SAGE Publishing collaborates with Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons to publish two journals

March 15, 2017

SAGE Publishing is pleased to partner with the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons to publish Plastic Surgery and Plastic Surgery Case Studies. The journals serve as major outlets for Canadian research, society guidelines, and continuing medical education.

“The Plastic Surgery editorial board and the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons are excited to announce our transition to SAGE Publishing,” commented Edward Buchel, Editor-in-Chief. “This is an incredible opportunity to partner with a highly respected international publishing company. We look forward to benefiting from the experience and professionalism of SAGE.”

This internationally recognized Plastic Surgery journal addresses all aspects of plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. It publishes original reports of clinical and basic research, editorials, review articles, and letters to the editors. The journal also publishes research on health systems, ethics, medical history, political and financial issues affecting practice, and more. The open access journal Plastic Surgery Case Studies contains numerous case reports involving various procedures within the field.

“We are pleased to work with the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons, which improves people’s lives through research, education, and information on the latest techniques in plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery,” commented Bob Howard, Senior Vice President of Global Journals, SAGE Publishing.
