Jan Trost

Jan Trost is Professor of Sociology at the University of Uppsala in Uppsala, Sweden. He is a former President of the International Sociological Association (ISA) and Honorary Chair of the Committee on Family Research of the ISA. He is the author of several books and numerous journal articles and travels frequently to maintain professional contacts and collaborations throughout the world.
