Dr. Ana Paula Vieira Colombo received her DDS in Dentistry (1990) and Specialization in Periodontology (1991) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ); DMSc in Oral Biology at Harvard Dental School (1997); Visiting Scholar at The Forsyth Institute (2008 and 2020). Currently, she is a Senior Professor and Researcher in Oral Microbiology and Periodontology at the Institute of Microbiology and School of Dentistry (UFRJ); Head of the Oral Microbiology Laboratory (UFRJ).
