Registration is now open for the 6th-annual Sage Critical Thinking Bootcamp, providing academic librarians and professors with the tools they need to encourage critical thinking in and out of the classroom.

Higher education plays a crucial role in fostering critical thinking skills essential for a healthy society. However, global shifts in education policy and funding are making this increasingly challenging. Both students and faculty must sharpen their skills to navigate misinformation and attacks on academic freedom, scientific funding, diversity, equity, and inclusion. This event will explore how faculty and librarians can facilitate the growth of critical thinking in these areas.

Speakers will explore topics including the intersection of creative and critical thinking, how we can support young people to recognize the importance of critical thinking, and the role of library and information science in supporting DEI and academic freedom.

Don't miss the chance to join a live discussion with a speaker of your choice in our interactive breakout rooms where attendees will have the opportunity to discuss these issues in more depth and look towards solutions. Register now to secure your place.
