What does a section editor do?
  • SEs will each be responsible for three or four Sections of Sage Open; these follow the different Clusters (see Appendix).
  • They will oversee/manage Associate Editors and Editorial Review Board members in their respective Sections of Sage Open
  • They will make decisions on papers that are deemed to be ‘sensitive topics’ (according to a pre-determined list – see Appendix).
  • They will advise on Special Collections and emerging topics in their respective field.  
What are we looking for?
  • We ideally looking to recruit experienced scholars – either Associate Professors/Readers or Full Professors.
  • They will ideally have expertise in two or more Sections.
