Recent Product Reviews:

Excellent and accessible introduction by top scholars in the field of discourse analysis. A classic text for every course in research methods.
Dr Jill Bogie, Business, Gordon Institute of Business Science
I would certainly recommend this user friendly text on discourse analysis.
Mrs Moyra Journeaux, Dept of Health & Social Care, Chester University
Discourse analysis is a subject that needs to have clear direction as to how it can be developed for a student to understand its benefits. This book offers such advice and provides a clear structure to the use of discourse analysis
Mrs Anita McGowan, Humanities , Croydon College
Possibly the clearest introduction to discourse analysis that I have come across in a while. Surprisingly jargon-free, and paying attention to several traditions within the broad field of discourse analysis. A bit more on the critical strands of discourse analysis would have made this text even better. But still a definite recommended reading for courses on qualitative research methods.
Dr Roberto Roccu, Department of European Studies, King's College London
The 2 first chapters were adopted as required reader for the module. It was a short but quite good introduction to discourse analysis.
Dr Maria Adamson, Essex Business School, Essex University
