This journal is currently not available for purchase.
Description
Clinical Pharmacology in Drug Development is an international, peer-reviewed, online publication focused on publishing high-quality clinical pharmacology studies in drug development which are primarily (but not exclusively) performed in early development phases in healthy subjects.
Acceptance of a manuscript in Clinical Pharmacology in Drug Development will be determined by scientific rigor and technical soundness rather than perceived importance of the presented results. Thus, negative study results are explicitly not an obstacle for positive acceptance decisions.
Suitable topics for submission include, but are not limited to
- First-Time-in-Man studies, including ascending single and multiple-dose studies
- Drug-drug Interaction Studies
- Transporter interaction Studies
- Bioavailability and Formulation Effect Studies
- Food/beverage Effect Studies
- In vitro Drug-drug Interaction Studies using human tissues
- In vivo Drug-drug Interaction Studies
- Mass Balance Studies
- Comparability Studies for Biosimilars
- Bioequivalence Studies, including those required for generic drug approval
- Standard Population Pharmacokinetic Analyses
- Clinical Trials focused on clinical pharmacology topics
Manuscripts submitted to Clinical Pharmacology in Drug Development will undergo a rigorous, anonymous peer review process.
Clinical Pharmacology in Drug Development is published online only. Paper or electronic reprints of individual articles are available for purchase on request.
Only original research papers can be submitted in unsolicited form to Clinical Pharmacology in Drug Development. Editorials and reviews are considered by invitation only.
Clinical Pharmacology in Drug Development is owned by the American College of Clinical Pharmacology and is published by Sage Publications, Inc.
