Jennifer McCoy is Regent’s Professor of Political Science at Georgia State University and nonresident scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. A specialist on political polarization and depolarization and democratic erosion and resilience, she was named a 2024 Andrew Carnegie Fellow on polarization. Her current book project, with Murat Somer, is Depolarizing Politics and Remaking Democracy (Princeton University Press, forthcoming).
